Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

My Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie is a delicious and nutritious post-workout snack, small meal, or even a dessert!

Servings: 12 ounces


  • 1 cup 2% or low fat milk or milk alternative
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1/2 ripe to overripe banana
  • 1-2 tablespoons all natural peanut butter or peanut butter of your choice
  • 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder I prefer unsweetened
  • stevia or sweetener of your choice
  • optional add-ons: A scoop of protein powder baby kale/spinach greens, or coconut flakes


In a blender, combine the ingredients in the following order for best results. Ice, milk, banana, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and sweetener. Blend on high for 2 minutes. Taste and adjust the sweetener and/or chocolate peanut butter levels to taste.
